Retired March 2010

Lefty was born back in January when Russ’ brother, Wally, told Russ he was getting SINISTER because of clues like “Think Right” and “X-Y Twister.” I thought that was a hoot and just had to make a box for those brothers. Well, Lefty has since been here, there and everywhere but planted - troublemaker that he is. I finally found just the swamp to suit him and now he’s all yours!

Driving Directions:

In Woodbridge, take Route 67 west 1.1 miles from Route 63 and park in the pull-off on the right.

Boxing Directions:

Find the trail that bears Russ’ name and the type of specialty plate that Sadie has on her car. Go down the steps and follow that trail over various walks of wood, interspersed with terra firma. After the last plank navigate your way through the small section of terra-not-so-firma and follow the trail as it wends its way uphill.
(It should take you 10-15 minutes to this point) Watch for where the trail zigs to the left around a good sized tree. Shortly, just before the trail zags right, look for a short boulder two steps off-trail on the right. Lefty lurks under it behind a wedge of wood. Please tread lightly and rehide carefully. Thanks! (If you come to where the trail passes through a stone wall, you have gone 25 paces too far)

Enjoy the return walk through the lush flora.
