The Tannery Hill bridge letterbox is the third of the "Covered Bridge Series" placed by "Son of a Sailor". These letterboxes are meant to give attention to the splendid structures of bygone days.
Directions: You must get yourself to RT 11A in Gilford. Follow 11A into Gilford Village. Take the turn into the Gilford Town Hall, immediately take a right. This will bring you directly behind the Gilford Fire House. (park here in spot)
Also, back towards Gilford Village, you can turn onto Belknap Mountain Rd. The Village store is an old fashion country store and further down about 1/2 mile on left is the Gilford Elementary School with nice playground for little letterboxers.
