Inspired by San Luis Obispo Walking Tour and Kernville Sign Bite I’ve taken up decoding clue writing.
Go to Mission San Miguel and find the Historical Landmark Plaque.
Essentially, the plaque becomes a "key" to unlock this code This is the way it works: Below, you'll see short bursts of numbers in sets of three. In each set of three numbers, the first number is a line number in the plaque, the second number is the number of words to count over in that line, and the third number is the number of characters to count over in that word. For instance, the set "6-7-4" means to find the character in the sixth line, seventh word of that line, and the fourth character of that word. String the characters together correctly in the spaces provided, and you'll have a coherent string of English words that will lead you to the letterbox. It's that simple.
Use all the lines on the plaque including the title and bottom lines.
