SHE SELLS SEASHELLS - RETIRED

She sells seashells by the seashore
at my favorite candy store.

There's so much more than chocolate shells,
like truffles, jelly beans and nonpariels.

The smell when you walk in the door
tells you the chocolate is to die for!

But don't take my word, come see for yourself.
The letterbox is stashed up on the shelf.

Directions to THE CHOCOLATE SHELL:

From I-95 North: take exit 70, turn left at light onto Rt. 156 North; turn right at second light onto Halls Road; at end of Halls Road turn right onto Lyme Street and go 0.7 miles. The store is on the right in the Village Shops, at the corner of Lyme Street and Academy Lane.

From I-95 South: take exit 70, turn left onto Lyme Street and go 0.7 miles. The store is on the right in the Village Shops, at the corner of Lyme Street and Academy Lane.

Store Hours: Monday 10-5 (12 - 5 in summer)
Tuesday thru Saturday 10 - 5
Closed Sunday

The letterbox is located on a shelf behind the cash register; just ask the cashier. There is a bench right outside the door where you can sit down to stamp in, then come back inside for a post-letterboxing treat!

While you'll be welcome almost anytime, please be aware the store is VERY BUSY the weeks before Valentine's Day, Easter and Christmas and letterboxers may be greeted less enthusiastically at these times. Please be courteous of the store staff and choose a less hectic time to find this letterbox.

While you're in the area, you might want to check out some more great letterboxes like the ones at Nehantic State Forest, Rocky Neck State Park, and Hartman Park. There are also many fine antique shops and fine art galleries close by, some even in Village Shops!
