Note: Letterbox has been replaced with a dry, new box as of August 11, 2013.
This letterbox is located in Pratt's Brook Park in Yarmouth, ME. Park at the end of Berryfield Road.
Walk straight down the entrance with the pond on your right.
Turn left at the first four-way intersection onto the Bear Loop. Stay on this trail for a while until you cross over a small bridge.
After the bridge, turn left on the Bear Loop. G, past a field on your right.
Fork to the right at onto the Deer Trail.
Fork right again.
Turn left at the end of the trail.
Keep going straight across at the powerline path. Once you enter the woods on the other side of the powerlines go a bit more than 50 steps. Look for a big tree on the right with two trunks and a third trunk that has been cut off. The letterbox is located in the intersection of the three trunks under some bark. Please wrap all the items carefully back in the zip top bags when you are through as the box contents get wet easily in this location.
Total hike into the letterbox is approximately one mile.
Have fun!
