This letterbox is located at the Wyoming Welcome Center & rest area near both I-25 and I-80 on the south edge of Cheyenne. From
I-25 take exit 7 (College Drive) to the rest area. After you've parked, stroll over to the signs near the statues on the east side of the rest area. Standing at the signs look at about 300 degrees & you'll see a water faucet. Take 58 steps to the faucet. From there look at about 345 degrees, down the hill, and you'll see some caragana bushes. 60 steps should take you just to the right of the bushes. On the ground to your left should be a large whitish rock. Look beneath for your cowboy.
As of spring 2006 this box may have gone missing. Sorry haven't been down that way for awhile to check on it.
