On the campus of the OSU, you’re journey begins…
I. By the shores of the lake of reflection, where other treasures lay,
A cliff stands high—forlorn.
Above its face, a path take, you may
Away from the water’s fitful song.
II. Towards the north, go your way
A dark, Giant of an Ox ensures the path
For north, further still
Waiting, lays, A sphinx and its staff
III. Within the Sphinx, you stand before the Watcher of the Hour,
With guardians, eight, linked by iron fate.
The first will lead to knowledge,
The fifth will show the way.
The third and fourth are liars,
And eight leads back,
back whence you came.
IV. The choice being made, and the right path traveled,
Stands the one who came first, midst groves of sycamore.
Seventy-nine staring eyes, and one great eye, above them all,
That points the way, twixt noon and six, two times each day.
V. The choice being made, and the right path traveled,
Pass the 92nd corner stone of yore.
Your stride strikes on a blushing square, else pale everywhere,
Where this tale will pass, into yesterday’s lore.
VI. Between two places of rest, there I shall too,
A stoney crown will lead me to you
Right Under Your Nose…
