Box has been graciously returned by Doug and Nancy (along with a few other unexpected things!) and has been re-planted here in RI.
If you happen to visit Carmel, California, please visit their letterbox, Piña Monterey, a wonderful replacement for our box in St Angers old spot!!!

St Anger now resides in the Arcadia Management Area. Hunting is allowed here so please wear orange during hunting season. We saw two deer here today! (6-30-04). About 4 miles round trip.

From Rt. 3 in RI, drive 1.4 miles west on Rt. 165, turn onto Arcadia Rd. Travel another 1.45 miles and turn left onto the dirt road. Another .35 miles on to the gate where you can park.

Start by going 56º along the dirt road, thru the gate. Pass a side trail leading to 344º
Up hill, pass another side trail at 151º
Take the next side trail at 207º.
Continue to a 4 way intersection and go 223º
Take next side trail at 174º. On a ways, thru a graveyard of boulders, an area with fallen pines.
At T, go 284º.
Thru a pine forest. When the trail swings NW, thru a stone wall. STOP!!
14 paces north along the wall, past the 2 "twin guardians", on the east side of the wall at base you will find the new resting place of St Anger. Behind a few rocks, Please rehide well!!!!
Back to trail and continue on (298º)
At intersection go 20º thru wall, follow, thru a muddy stretch and some half log bridges.
Cross a wooden bridge then head 44º over another bridge.
On a ways again until another intersection at a dead tree. Right after where we saw the deer. Go 355º
At next T, go north and at the next T, west to return to the start.
Hope you had fun! Let us know how the box is doing!
