In The Line of Duty
(Another tag-along, this one in Scotland CT)
Enjoy finding Dan & Melissa's stunning Spignesi Wildlife Management Area Letterbox
Returning uphill, you'll soon pass by an s-curve with fine stone walls and a path leading south toward cedar. Staying with the main trail, you'll next come upon a field on the left with good eastern exposure.
In the southwest corner a big pine stands out. Just behind, in the far side of the low stone wall, lives In The Line of Duty.
------------
A note from Stinger, April 2010: "I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the wonderful pine tree in this
letterbox was blown down. There is only about 20' of tree left standing which
blends in with the other trees. It makes it very difficult to see the tree. I
don't believe it happened too long ago. You may want to change your clues."
