Have not been there to check it out for my self, but the box was reported missing in September. Sorry.

From Oklahoma City take I 40 west to the Hinton exit (exit #101). Proceed south to Hinton just a little over 5 miles to the entrance to Red Rock Canyon. Red Rock Canyon State Park is one of Oklahoma's most scenic parks. It is told that Comanche, Cheyenne and other tribes camped here and outlaws hid out here. There are lots of hiking trails and places to repell if you are into that. Now back to our hunt...You will turn left into the entrance of the park, you'll want to shift into a low gear about now as there is a steep and winding road to the bottom of the canyon. At the bottom you will pass a fishin' hole, and a swimmin' hole on your right. If it's summer wave at the kids in the pool! Turn left into "Area 2". You will park here facing the covered shelter on the left. The bathrooms are on the right. Enter the covered shelter and have a seat facing the canyon wall. You will see a couple of trees behind the water spigot, one has real dark bark and one (in front) has real light bark and a cresent moon shape in it. There is a foot path behind these trees. Follow the foot path to the left or north (now beware of leaves of 3, let them be!!), go past the big fallen tree, behind the big rock covered in moss and past the little cave. The path will take you to a stand of trees among fallen boulders, one tree is actually growing right out of the boulders! The box is in a crevice between 2 of the fallen boulders. It is covered with red rocks and a chunk of concrete.
Now while you are in this spot you are some what hidden from veiw, but please be very discreet and hide the box well. Lots of people walk these paths but would never notice the box unless looking for it.
Also on your way out of the canyon stop at the little museum my Husbands family have donated a lot of things in it. Have fun!
