Rated: Easy. Only 20 minutes round trip, unless you spend the afternoon at the pool like we do.

This is the first letterbox that Jennifer's planted. It’s at one of her favorite places—we think you’ll like it too. From the intersection of routes 6 and 198, travel half a mile north on 198. Just before the bridge, turn right and park in the Diana’s pool parking lot. See http://www.swimmingholes.org/ct.html#CHAPLIN%20AREA for a picture, description and warning. Follow the trail from the back of the parking lot (river side) to the river and go upstream to the large pool with a rope swing. Two small trees grow from the cracks at the top of the large rock at the downstream end of the pool. In the crack next to one of the trees is the letter box. Please be discrete and re-hide well.
