On July 3, 2004 some very good friends of ours got married. In honor of their matrimony we decided to create the Steinbuck Wedding stamp. The stamp is located at the location of the ceremony at the Lake Mendocino Club House. This is a drive by box.
Drive out towards the lake by taking the Lake Mendocino exit off the 101. Take Lake Mendocino Drive to the East. At the third speed bump turn left up the driveway of the club house. On the right you will see a large sign. The box is hidden on the back of the sign. Please replace it carefully with the pine cones.
The gate to the club house may or may not be opened. If you see any activity at the club house please do not pull into the drive way as you do not want to draw attention to yourself as you retrieve the box.
If you have an extra 10 minutes, drive towards the lake to the Look out point (on the left side). Here they have a play ground, hikes, camping facilities, and you can get a nice view of the lake.
