CLUES: When you arrive at Spruce Knob tower enjoy the view and then head down the trail at the bottom of the stairs. Follow the trail to the bench in front of the open rock field and have a seat. Just to the left behind the bench under rocks is the letterbox.
Watch for snakes and poison ivy. When I placed the box it was about 4 o'clock in the afternoon and the temperature was only about 55 degrees, so go prepared for cooler temperatures. The wind blows constantly and it is chilly.
