Terrain: Muddy and swampy when it rains.
Time: 35 minutes – but take your time
To get there: Take Rte. 563 To Nockamixon State Park find Lot 13.
At the parking lot find the signs for the Disc Golf/Fishing Pond.
Locate the Summer Lake Dwellers and go right. Continue to you find #8 following the trail right. At the place of two poles follow the trail again to your right.
Around the pines and WOW – what a beautiful site. Pass this fun place and continue over the tunnel and up the log lined trail to the benches. Right again you guessed it. Down the log lined trail.
Take the steps down and then over the bridge – watch out for trolls. Clip clop Clip Clop….Turn right at # 3 over the bridge and turn left for a change. After a while find # 1 follow the clearing to the over a few steams and through some mucky land. Be on the lookout for a two foot high stump on your left – turn your gaze left and find the trees with white spots. Behind the one that leans is the bird your looking for.
** This is a very busy disc golf course please box with caution as the discs thrown are big and HEAVY! – you would not want be hit with one. It is also sometimes heavy populated REHIDE WELL!!.
