[Report from letterboxer 8/8/09 " We tried locating your letterbox in Tom George Greenway on August 5, but were unsuccessful. Is the clue about the 'huge tree' the large oak tree on the right? The deer trail wasn't very recognizable with all the summer growth." --Choi]

This is a fairly easy hunt - provided the mosquitos don't eat you!

Start at the sign for the Tom George Greenway on Cottage Grove Road in Madison, WI - just West of Hwy BB (Cottage Grove Road) and South Thompson Drive.

Facing East, while standing on the sidewalk in front of the sign, take 39 steps to the start of the trail.

Turn left onto the trail & follow until you find a huge tree. (You'll know it's the right one when you see it.) Walk past the tree, which will be on your right to a culvert, on your left.

Eight steps past the culvert turn left onto the deertrail.

Follow the trail roughly parallel to the culvert for thirty steps. You will see a fallen tree with many "trunks" on your left.

Step across the tree & go right for ten yards to a large cut-up stump. The box is past the first stump & behind the second.

Please leave your stamp's mark in our book & use ours to mark your's! Happy hunting from the Baas'.
