LOCATION:
Greenwood Park

DIRECTIONS:
www.gobroomecounty.com/community/ParksGreenwood.php
Great directions to the park on the above web page.

DIFFICULTY:
Moderately difficult, muddy, rocky terrain. Mosquito repellant a must during warm and wet weather. Great for cross country skiing in the winter!

CLUES:
When you enter the park, which way to go? To the right or left, only we know. Turn to the right if it's the letterbox you seek. Or make a left if it's the beach you wish to peek.

Follow the signs to the shelters, it's a left off this road. To the sign with one number (#4), it's here that the next clue will unfold.

From here it's on foot, so park in the lot. Proceed to the shelter, Do Leprechauns keep their gold in a pot?

See the beach through the trees? It's that nearest building you seek. Go to the restrooms, don't worry they don't reek.

When you get to the restrooms, Need to take a break? If not, proceed to the orange slide, down near the lake.

With your back to the slide see the road does bend. Don't go to the right because it's a dead end.

Take the road to the left. It's the way you will travel, study the names on the Trail System Map, it will help the rest of the clues to unravel.

Continue on the trail. Don't make a right for the "camp", from here on out the trail may be damp.

Signs for the restrooms and sites 1 and 2, don't stop here this place isn't for you.

Turn right for the "CREEK", this is the time, to tighten your laces, and prepare for the slime.

Follow the trail past post number 9, to a four way junction, a "PATH" you will "FIND".

Go to the right, the treasure you seek, is on up the mountain, and over a creek.

See the tree on your right? We thought it would be a perfect spot, but keep on going, because sorry it's not.

Past the fallen trees, you're almost there. Cross the bridge and do not stare, there may be a Leprechaun but that is quite rare.

At the number of the shamrock, not the clover you see, put your back to the post, and look for this tree.

Three trunks straight ahead, walk into the brush. The treasure is just behind the tree, so don't rush.

CONGRATULATIONS, your journey is done. Go back as you came or continue for fun.

Go down the path making a right at each turn, and your back to the beach as you will soon learn.

Take home our Blessing and pray as we do, that each day of your life will be blessed through and through!!!!
