Happy Birthday Steve
In Scotland, Ct at the, James V. Spignesi Jr. Wildlife Management Area, is a special little gift for Steve Holyfield, for his Birthday. The Wildlife Management Area is directly off of route 97, on the right. Be sure to wear hunter’s orange in the hunting season.
Once you park in the parking area, walk past the metal gate and down the main trail. The Main trail winds it’s way down hill towards a small river. Walk to the river and enjoy all of the views en-route.
After you’ve enjoyed the river start walking back up the hill. At the first “Y” intersection take the left fork, and look for a stonewall on the left.
At the SW corner of this wall look for a cedar tree. On the South side of the wall, directly across from the cedar, look in the wall next to a small cairn for the prize. And please enjoy the lovely area.
(A special thanks goes out to RTRW for the wonderful stamp!)
