Many years ago there existed a place known as Egypt. It is still seen on some maps and the only traces are a few street names.

Recently there has been some digging as modern man builds great structures like Home Depot. During the excavations, a letterbox from the days of the pharaohs was uncovered! It appears to have been made to honor the young King Tutankhamen.

Because of the fear of the curse, no one will take this box home. It has been hidden to protect the untrained. For the brave and experienced letterboxer, you may seek the treasure as follows:

If you come from the intersection of FM 2978 & FM1488, proceed south on FM2978 for 0.22 miles. On the right will be Rancheros Mexican Grill. Find somehwere near here to park.

Once out of you vehicle, you must face the direction of the rising sun. By the edge of the woods, will be some architectural reminant from ancients days. I beleive this column or pillar is made out of material they used to call bricks. Investigate this pillar from the back side! The boy king awaits.

Note: From I-45 traveling west on FM 1488, intersection is around 6 miles away. Coordinates are N 30.21762 and W 95.56796
