Note from Kermit:
Well, sadly "S'mores" is gone. The tree is still there (and it's a terrific tree), and inside it you may find - as I did - a bizarre plastic box left by a muggle at some unknown time. It's not a geocache, and it's not a letterbox; it's labelled as a "memory box" or somesuch.
I left it in place, because, fascinatingly enough, I found another inhabitant of the cemetery quite nearby, archived at number 5005, apartment #4.
Good luck! Original clue is below.
To find the S’mores letterbox, you will need to traverse through an old, and somewhat forgotten graveyard. If you are headed toward in-town Bar Harbor, you’ll make a left onto Hadley Point Road. This road is near Llangolan cottages, and is the same road that Hadley’s Point Campground is on. Travel down Hadley Point Road for approximately .25 or so miles. On the left hand side there will be a metal post fence that is a bit rusty. This is the Hadley Point cemetary. Once inside you need to find the stone cross of Joseph Seronde (1883-1979). This marker is under the shade of an old, dead tree. You’ll see an open hole in the center of the tree. Look inside the hole, where the limbs are hollow and you’ll find S’mores!
