It has been said that Thomas Crapper invented the flushable toilet. The fact of the matter is that although he improved indoor plumbing greatly he did not in fact invent it. Thomas Crapper holds nine patents, four for improvements to drains, three for water closets, one for manhole covers and the last for pipe joints. However a man working for Thomas, Mr. Giblin was allowed to use company time and equipment to create an effective flushable toilet.
Thomas Crapper owned three plumbing shops which he sold in 1904 to partners who kept the business name Thomas Crapper and Company until closing in 1966.
How did we start using his name in a crass manor? Well this is up for debate but one theory is that World War I doughboys traveling through England probably saw "T. Crapper" printed on the side of toilets and other pieces of plumbing thus bringing slang back to the U.S. in reference to the bathroom.
To find this mystery box you must go to the starting point for multiple mixed up boxes. Stand beside something Mr. Crapper and Mr. Giblin could have improved upon. Take a reading of 135° and walk in this direction. It is thinned out but not quite a path. Take about 35 paces winding through Mountain Laurel. You will come to a small clearing. In this little clearing you will see two pieces of deadwood making an X. Just beyond under a flat stone you will find the treasure. Keep your ears open I have heard there are wolves to the east.
