NOTE: Please find "Quilt Blocks" first, as "Happy Turtle" stars where QB leaves off. Also, see QB clues for driving directions.

"Happy Turtle" is #4 in our kids' series. From the "Quilt Blocks" letterbox, proceed on down the trail. When you have to choose which way to go, take a right. Pass what looks like a large beaver lodge close to the trail on your right. Go through a sharp right turn in the trail. Cross two footbridges. Note the huge Tarzan vine at the end of the second one. It's pretty neat. Then, yet another footbridge. Soon, you'll see a giant "slingshot" standing in front of you. With the "slingshot" directly to your right, proceed 15 paces (one pace = two steps), and look left. There's a big tree there with an open wound facing the trail. Between that tree and the trail you're standing on are a fallen mother flanked by two babies, one on each side of her. Look closely. These blended in pretty well when I was there last. If you look at the far end of the space between the baby on the left and mama, you'll find the "Happy Turtle." Please rehide and cover well. And contact me if you don't find it. From here, just go back the way you came. Be safe and have fun! :)
