This is a short walk (maybe .4 miles round trip from the parking lot). It is child friendly, but the nature trail is a hill that is somewhat steep, which you walk up on the way back. It is short enough that this isn't an issue for my young children.

Driving Directions: Going through Poulsbo on Highway 305, turn east onto NE Hostmark Street (that's a right if coming from the Bainbridge Island direction). Turn right onto Caldart Avenue NE, follow road up the hill. The park will be on your right.

Locate the Children's Garden on the far NW side of the park.
Enter the garden under the "Welcome to our Youth Garden" sign. Follow the stepping stones straight ahead to a half-circle of benches with a nice view of Poulsbo. Go to the left and locate a "Raab Park Nature Trail" sign. Follow the trail down the hill until you come to a fence. Go through the gate.
Pass two huge holly bushes on your right. Go down three steps and take a right at the "Evergreen Huckleberry" post (it was knocked down last I looked, but was still visible on the ground). Continue until you see a "Douglas Fir" sign post on your right.
Turn around and go back up the trail about 21 paces until you see two logs laying together on your right, just before the "Evergreen Huckleberry" sign. Check between the two logs to find the letterbox. Please return it as found, well concealed from the eyes on non-letterboxers. Thanks! Happy Treasure Hunting!
