Waterfall in the Woods
No cheating this isn't at the big waterfall.
To the Trail:
From I-90 east. Take Liberty Lake exit. Go straight on Appleway. Follow the small brown signs to Liberty Lake County Park. Continue all the way back to the camp grounds and park in the parking area.
From I-90 west. Take Liberty Lake exit. Turn left on Harvard Rd. At the light go left onto Appleway. Follow little Brown signs to Liberty Lake County Park. Continue all the way back to the campgrounds and park in the parking area.
Note: in the summer there is a $2 per person charge. No charge in winter.
Time: about 1 1/2 hours
The trailhead starts with 2 signs and a garbage can. Go on to the trail. Take a rest and then continue on. From the next sign take the trail at 166degrees.Over the bridge and through the woods. Don't stop to warm by a fire. Follow the trail but don't get wet. If moisture is abundant then you will hear it flow. If you cross the bridge you've gone to far. From this sign go 50 degrees magnetic 50 Steps. Stand with your back to the multi armed tree in your path. Go 7 steps 145 degrees magnetic. Pile of sticks is the key.
Please replace as found so nonletterboxers don't find. Let me know how the box is doing. And have Fun!!!
