Clues have been updated October, 2010 due to recent trail changes.

Location: Crandall Park, Cider Mill Road, Tolland CT. From Interstate 84, take exit 68. Turn north onto route 195. Go about 1/2 mile and turn left onto cider mill road. Go about 1/2 mile, past Crandall Park on your right, look for the Crandall 2 entrance on your right, turn right into park, park in the parking lot in front of the baseball/soccer field. Stay in the parking lot and face the soccer field, look to the left of the parking lot and you will see the entrance to the red trail.

OK Penguins - March up that hill on the red trail. When you get to the top, there are two benches to rest on and enjoy the beautiful view and perhaps enjoy a tasty snack of fish - yummy! When you are done munching, waddle back to the red trail and head down the trail. Waddle across a handy platform bridge and then keep on waddling, through some delightful Mountain Laurel. Staying on red, continue on, there will be a stone wall on your left and now you must be on the lookout for another bench on your right. When you reach that bench, shhhh, stop your penguin squeaking - we must be secretive! Ooops, we went too far, waddle backwars about 30 penguin paces. We are looking for Penquins not Polar bears, so point your beaks in the direction of where Penquins live. Go forward into the woods 20 paces and discover a cairn. Search carefully - the box is well hidden in the cairn.
