Alive and well, with new logbook, 6-21-07
*Old Fort Townsend State Park*
(Most State Parks will let you park for 15min. without paying the fee.)
I've always like walking on moonlit nights without a flashlight, and this park is great for it.
Drive into the Park and turn left at the crossroads. Park at the bathrooms on your left. Walk back up the road to find a trail map. Take the 1/4 mile Historical Interpetive Trail. When you reach the Mess Hall, turn around and find two fallen logs directly across the trail. Your treasure is between the logs.
Please rehide carefully. As this could be viewed from the trail.
