Difficulty: Easy
Distance: 1-10 minute one way, easy walk depending on where you park
Stamp: Hand Carved

Directions from Tucson: Take I-10 East to Highway 80 south to Tombstone.

Reported as missing in action. The log book was fairly full the last time we checked. If someone finds after October 20, 2008 please let me know.

There are plenty of things to enjoy in Tombstone. You can check out the Bird Cage Theatre, stroll around Boot Hill, dress up in period costume, take in one of the many shoot ‘em up shows, visit the OK Corral, talk to a cowboy, ride the stage coach, or see the largest rose bush in the world.

To find the Grateful Dead box:
It’s a very non-specific clue, but this shouldn't be an "East Toughnut" to crack!

Find the 12-ton safe that would KEEP ROLLING BY if it weren’t permanently housed in a lean-to. Supposedly, the unusual shape was meant to deflect any dynamite that bank robbers might have used to open it.

Once you’ve inspected it, TAKE A STEP BACK. To the left, is a DARK HOLLOW in an old mine shaft elevator. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, it’s there. You MIGHT AS WELL be careful when reaching for it on the left side.

Sit on the wall, sign in, AND enjoy your time in the “Town Too Tough to Die.”

This is the 2nd box in the "Rock 'N Roll" series. The first is the Rolling Stones Remixed.
