This box is located in a building on US-30 in Merrillville, Indiana. I usually visit this building at least once a month, and I take stuff without paying for it!
Okay, okay, it’s a library. A large library…with a large white sculpture in the front window. Once you are inside, to find the box, first you have to find the section of books by one of my favorite authors. Use your little grey cells to figure out who it is. This very prolific author is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the best-selling fiction author of all time with over two BILLION copies sold! These include 80 novels and short story collections.
Once you have located this author’s books (which take up the two lower shelves in their section), reach underneath the upper of the two shelves and you will find the box attached to the shelf with magnets. The stamp is a representation of one of this author’s most famous characters. This character appeared in 33 novels and 54 short stories.
As always, please be discreet when looking for the box and replacing it. There are some tables 4 or 5 aisles down, but they are out in the open, so be careful if you use one of them to stamp in. Please replace the letterbox toward the back of the shelf so that it will be less likely that someone will bump into it accidently. And please put it back underneath the CORRECT SHELF! :)
