4-07 We have now moved 1000 miles away, not sure the status of this box and will not be able to check on it. SORRY
7-07 Just heard from someone that it is in goodstanding. Thanks!

This letterbox is kid friendly (there is a playground nearby), however it is not very stroller or wheelchair friendly as there are stairs involved. It would be a great spot for a picnic lunch!

This hunt takes place in the White County town that is the home of Indiana’s largest family-owned amusement park.
Your quest begins at the down town building that is the seat of county government Running alongside this building is a street named for a nearby state. Turn onto this street – you can only go one-way. Turn left where the one-way street ends (it does continue as a two-way street though). On the corner is building where many sad farewells are said. Go one block and turn the direction that birds fly in the winter. You will pass 3 bells – one immediately to the right and two more down the road on the left. Turn left into the city park (904 City Park Loop). Follow the road until you come to a playing field named after a gemstone. Park your car because you are only a short hike from the spot. Leave your stroller behind. Walk back the direction you came from (about 100 yds). Between two yellow buildings there is a set of steps, go down them -- 55 to be exact. Continue ahead across the covered bridge. Turn toward the babbling brook and rocky dam. Where the brook bends there is a 6 sided wooden structure with a roof. Enter the structure and stand in the center spot. The arrow points to the correct side. What you seek is on ground level and a brick marks the spot.
