11.01.07 Reported Missing
The Orders Road School House was built in 1879. Three generations between ages of 5 and 16 received their primary education here. This is one of many, one room, red brick school house’s dotting Ohio’s country roads.
Directions - From Columbus, take I-71 South to the Stringtown Rd. Exit. Turn RIGHT onto Stringtown Rd. At the intersection of Hoover Rd., turn LEFT onto Hoover. Look for Orders Rd., turn RIGHT. The School House is located on Orders Rd. past Fryer Park, you will see it up ahead on the left. There is a gravel road to pull off on and a sign “Century Village Historic Park”. You will find the “Old School House” box above one of the front windows of the cabin that is to the left of the school.
