THIS LETTERBOX IS IN OPERATION AS OF 6/20/2008
EASY-MODERATE DIFFICULTY.
Directions: Drive along Mass. Ave. in Arlington, when you
get to the intersection with Mass. Ave., and Mill St., turn left onto Jason st. Follow Jason St. until you see a large grassy area on the right, that says Menotomy Rocks.
Clues:
Walk forward with the field on your right.
Pause at the pond.
Turn to the right and follow the ponds edge.
Follow the top of the curving wall.
Keep the pond on your left.
When you get to the end of the curving wall, turn left and keep walking.
When you see the wee house on the right, bare right past the park.
When you see ‘danger,’ follow the path up the hill.
Gaze up to your right, do you see the enormous boulder?
Keep walking.
Walk until you face a huge a "V" made of wood.
To the right is what you seek.
Cross the bridge that has no water.
Continue past the moss-covered turtle.
Take a right at the large, low-altitude, plus sign
Stand at the picture post looking south.
Turn at a 30° angle. Head up the path you are facing.
Climb to the top of the hill.
Get to the top and look straight ahead.
Stand between the “V” and the “Y” facing the “Y”.
Face the field of domes.
Stand on top of the largest of the domes.
Face the direction you came from.
Tap the Left side of the dome twice with your left foot.
Tap the Right side of the dome 3 times with your right foot.
Hop 1 time on the dome.
Say, “The power of my own intellect will allow me to find this letterbox.
Walk like an Egyptian towards the “V”.
Lift some juvenile domes at the base of the “V” and find what you seek.
