This box is at the end of an awesome abandonded, yet sound, bridge right off the Southbound side of the 101. It's a got a beautiful view, right between the 101 and a really high and long train bridge. If you're lucky you'll get to see a UP frieghter or a Amtrak Coast Starlight zoom by.
Northbound on the 101 - about 5 miles past Refugio Beach, hang a U-turn so you're going South again. (If you hit Mariposa Reina, that's far enough, make that U-turn now).
Southbound on the 101 - about 5 miles past the Rest Area right before Gaviota State Park.
Now, southbound on 101, look out your seaside windows until you see an old bridge and a rail bridge. Turn off at the blue Vista Point sign right there and park. Go west down to the old bridge and take a stroll across it. At the other end is a paved clearing. There is a row of boulders on the left. Count 7 and then turn into the brush. You'll see a large cement block, a ruin of something now defunct. Now look to the right of it to the nearest stone. Underneath three small cement pieces and a bit of wild grasses lies Vyv. Please take care to cover him up as it's a popular little place for teenagers and explorers.
