The spring campout kicks off the events for the year at the park.
We have the first one of these for the year and again Memorial Day weekend continuing every Friday and Saturday (weather permiting) through Labor Day weekend with a few more off and on.
Start at the outdoor location for this and walk around behind. There you will see a small trail. Follow this trail to the large tree at the point overlooking the lake. On the north side of this tree you will find what you seek. Rehide it well, and be careful on the hill. Happy Hunting.
This box went missing. Spring Campout #2 has been planted.
Starting in the same location as before, head in the same direction as before. When you see the small trail you will see a large flat rock near the head of this trail. Look under here and you will see Spring Campout #2.
Once this one is damaged or missing there will be no more spring campout box. (This festival may experience a name change.)
