Bridal Trail Hike
From Warm Springs turn north on Eastern toward Sunset. Before you get to Sunset,
turn right on an access road into a parking lot on the south side of Sunset Park. Park at the eastern end of the lot, and walk east along the road about a half block. When you come to the bridal path on the right, climb through the irongate and walk along the dirt bridal path about 100 paces. Watch on the right for a large tree with a 2 foot chunk of cement (about 1 foot in diameter) beside it. (It is opposite a fence with graffiti on it, and before you get to the red birdhouse.) Climb through the iron fence and walk west about 10 paces. You will see an easy way into the tree. At the base of the tree, where several trunks form a pocket, the box is hidden under some small chucks of wood and covered with dead sticks from the tree.
