An Indian brave came to his father one day and asked, "Father, how did you come up with my name?"
His father responded, "my son, when you were born I opened the door to the tee pee and the first thing that I saw, that was your name. Like your sister _______________, or your other sister _______________. Why do you ask, _______________"
All boxes are film canisters, only box #3 has a logbook. All stamps are hand carved, bring your own ink. I recommend blue for Box 1, green for Box 2 and Black for the Box 3.
CLUES:
Make your way to Camden Park in Milan (an old indian word that means, 'don't drink the water.' If you have lived in Milan like we have you would understand). The park is at the intersections of Hwy 67 and the Milan beltway.
If you enter from the beltway drive straight into the park and stop at the small parking area next to the play area (if you come from Hwy 67 it is at the base of the two big hills on the main drive to the right.
Park and get out at this small parking lot, walk over to the tee for hole #6. As you stand at the tee you will notice a small deer path going into the woods. Enter the woods about 10 feet before the trail goes down hill into a creek you will see a medium sized tree with a vine trying to over take it.
At the base of this tree on the west side you will find Box 1. Please cover with sticks and the stone again so it doesn't get washed down to the stream.
For Box 2 you can either walk up the hill or, like us get back in your car and drive. Drive up the hill towards the new playground (great for kids) but turn the other way towards the south.
Stop when you run out of road and get out and walk south west. You will see where a clearing has been mowed through the trees to a farmers field. Walk toward the field, when you find yourself with trees on your right and your left stop.
Look to your left you will see a large tree. Walk to this tree. About five and a half feet up on your right you will notice a broken off branch that forms a "V" with the trunk. The box is behind the broken off branch. PLEASE when you replace this box make sure it is secure and will not slide down the trunk of the tree.
NOW for the punch line.
From Box 2 walk out to the paved path the goes towards tee #1 and the old playground. When you come to a "Y" take a left, the path will soon form a "W" again, take a left.
You will walk a very short way down hill and to your left you will soon see a disc golf "hole" #13. Walk to the basket and face west.
From hole 13 walk 15 steps towards 14.
Stop and you should be next to a tree. Again, about five and a half feet off the ground you will see a knot or hole in the tree, reach up and down into the tree to find the punch line to this joke.
