Lake Alice is located on the University of Florida campus on Museum Road. This is a high traffic area, so please be careful!
To find the "Go Gators" box make your way to University Gardens, which is just east of the lake. There is a gazebo and a wooden board walk, follow this back toward the lake. Find the last seating area on the left. Just past this you'll see a tall, skinny oak tree snuggled up to a small palm just to the right of the boardwalk. The treasure is under the boardwalk, in the supports. Please be careful and watch for gators, snakes and humans. Continue on to the end there is a nice outlook over the lake and you can often see gators! If you're into birds there are often Osprey's fishing in the lake.

To find the "Bat House" box, locate the bat house which is across Museum Road from the lake. Turn and look towards the lake and you'll see a big patch of bamboo. In the middle of this patch, there is a concrete table with stools. Have a seat facing back towards the bat house. Look to your left and you'll see a group of 3 trees. One has a root wrapped around the base of it's trunk, the treasure is under some leaves here. Please make sure you re-hide the box carefully!!!! It would be ideal to find this box this box just before dusk (while there is still enough light to see), then wait until dusk to watch the bats fly out. It's an interesting sight, but be careful where you stand or you may get an unpleasant shower! For more info visit http://www.afn.org/~ufbat/
