This letterbox is #1 of a series of three dedicated to our pups! This letterbox is for our mentally unstable, male, toy fox terrier, Sam!

The first letterbox is hidden in Echo Hills Park located in Hurst, Texas. To get to Echo Hills Park from 183 head north on Precinct Line Road. Turn right/east onto Midcities. Turn left/north onto Hurstview Dr. Turn right/east onto Heneretta. Continue east on Heneretta and Echo Hills will be on your left side.

Echo Hills Park is very busy on weekends so use caution and please rehide the letterbox well.

Park in the parking lot of Echo Hills Park. Find and face the park map sign at the back of the parking lot. Heading southeast, follow the sidewalk to your right until the sidewalk splits and goes to the left. Continue following the sidewalk to the left as it turns and heads east. Shortly, you will come to a series of four pine trees on your right hand side (near the houses). Go to the last pine tree and face the east corner of the park. Houses will be ahead of you and also on your right side. Take 43 paces east until you come to a large oak tree which has a shrub growing out from the bottom of it. When you reach the this oak tree look just beyond it to the east to see another large oak that resembles a chair at the bottom of the tree. (becareful, the neighbor's gate opens right in front of this tree) Inside the hollow of the "chair tree" you will find your treasure. Be sure to cover with twigs & leaves to conceal.
