Yogi Bear

Find your way past Jellystone Park, where you can often spot Yogi Bear snatching picnic baskets from unsuspecting campers. Turn left onto Wesley Road, park in the parking lot on the left.

Take the trail directly across from parking lot entrance.
Follow trail to first Y, stay left and follow down to creek. Take a rest on the big rock in the middle of the creek.

When you have relaxed and are on the trail once again, take 10 paces away from the creek to the main trail. Go left.

When you see a hollowed stump on the left edge of the trail, take 165 paces to man made crossing. Cross the ravine. At the Y in the trail, step left to get a view of the water falls. Then take the right trail up the rock steps. Be careful if it is wet as it is very slippery.

You will come to a fallen tree on the left of the trail. From the start of the fallen tree go 23 paces to the flat rock. With your back to the creek, look for Yogi Bear's Cave. He's not in there, he's hiding to the right where a small moss covered root holds him tight, covered by a small flat rock.

If you have found him, you are "smarter than the average bear" !

Have fun exploring the falls area after you have returned Yogi to his hiding place.
