BEFORE BEGINNING YOUR SEARCH, PLEASE NOTE: this is a highly trafficked area where kids ride their bikes and hang out. If you cannot conduct this search completely alone, COME BACK ANOTHER TIME!!!! Also, if you’re nervous about putting your hands/arms kinda deep into stone walls this letterbox isn’t for you.

The “Pinney School” letterbox is located off Route 19 on a little side-street aptly named Pinney School Rd. Make your way to the Pinney School building… (Originally built in 1895 as a village school this building now houses the Stafford Board of Education)

Standing in front of the Pinney School, look towards the 2 o’clock direction and locate Pinney School Rd. Drive down this road and cross the green bridge. Just over the bridge is an area wide enough to park your car along a string of boulders. Walk down the road away from the bridge until you come to a wide “path” that leads into an oval “bowl”.

From inside the bowl, locate a medium-sized tree with exposed roots on an “elevated” surface to your right. Go to it and face the water with the tree against your back. If you take a few steps forward you will notice that you are actually standing on top of a stonewall. Make your way around to the ground level portion of this wall. Find the New Hampshire shaped rock at the end of the 3rd long boulder. Behind and tucked up into the wall, just at an arm's length, you will find your treasure. (you're in the correct place if there's a 10inch sleeping giant against your spine.)

MAKE SURE YOU RE-PLACE THE NH ROCK THE WAY YOU FOUND IT!!!!

Good Luck!!!!!!!!
