Proceed to Dyer Park in Odessa, MO.
Trail begins at large pavilion on north side of park.
CAUTION: This is a pretty wide open park so you will have to be very stealth-like in your letterbox hunt. We don’t want non-gamers spoiling the fun by hoisting our boxes!
#1. Facing the pavilion look to your right.
An ol’ knurly hedge tree is in your sight.
Hike on over and check it out.
Letterbox #1 is close about.
#2.MUGGLED! :-( Now turn around and look to the north.
For Letterbox 2 you need to go forth.
Go have a seat and look for me.
I used to be a grand ol’ tree.
#3.MUGGLED! :-( Hop on down and travel west my friend.
Go under the arch and around the bend.
You’ll soon find me, I’m Number 3.
Look on your right for the lonely tree.
#4. Go back where we began, facing the pavilion once more,
We’ll wrap up this hunt with Letterbox Number 4.
So stroll around back for a great view.
Watch your steps, you’ll know what to do.
Please take great care in hiding our boxes carefully. Boxes include a carved rubber stamp and small ink pad and logbook. Please sign the book and leave us your stamped image, too! This trail was laid as part of our Girl Scout Silver Award project. We hope you had fun in our park!
