With all the construction and building going on at Bass Pro in Springfield, I decided it would be better to place my stamp somewhere it wasn't going to be threatened. Be sure to visit the Bass Pro shop while you are in Springfield, just in the year it's been since we visited, it's change over has been AMAZING! The alligator was so cool, and I do love looking at all the critters and ceilings to begin with. Bring your camera, if you love to take pictures like I do!!
Go to Mt. Vernon (heading from Springfield west towards Joplin) and exit for the Travel Visitor Center. The center is just past, on the left, the Casey's. It's also the Chamber of Commerce. When you park, find the gazebo and then count 5 posts left from standing in the door/opening. Go through the railings and under the gazebo. Your sport's man logo is under some wood chips!
