From the McKinley Statue on Route 8 in the center of Adams take Maple street .
At the end turn left onto Friend st.
Look for the Jaeschke’s Orchard sign and take that right on to Gould Rd.
Follow Gould Rd. up into the Greylock Glen passing through the apple orchard.
Stay to the left on Gould Rd.
Look for the White Pecks Falls sign on the left hand side of the road. Pull into the dirt parking area across the street.
Enjoy the very short hike down to the beautiful waterfall famous in the Boys of Bob’s Hill stories. Please watch your step as there is a drop off by the waterfall..
After returning to the parking area turn your back to the Pecks Falls sign and face the end of the parking area. Look for a small white birch growing between 2 large rocks slightly right of the end.
Climb over the rocks towards the big tree and go to the double birch tree. Turn left . Your prize is 5 paces straight ahead under the smaller of the rocks.
You are looking for a red coffee can covered with pine branches.
