Difficulty: Easy
Distance to microbox: about 100 yards
This box is located at Big Sky Ski resort. WOW, what a great place to Ski!!!!! The box should be able to be found year round, unless a huge snow covers it up.
Directions:
From Hwy 64 intersection with Hwy 191, take 64 (Lone Mountain Trail) west until Big Ski Resort Rd. Go left (across dam) then take first left turn onto Low Dog Rd. Take next left to stay on Low Dog Rd, and go to where there is a turning circle at end (be careful in winter not to keep driving straight after that turning circle or you will get stuck ......as we did). Park on turning circle, but do not block the middle path.
To the Microbox:
Walk on the path in middle of turning circle to shed. Go right to trail sign that says "Coolridge" (geocache behind that tree). Continue up this side trail on left edge for 15 steps to a small tree near edge. Box is wedged in lower trunk, with 2 rocks next to it.
Hike length: 0.1 miles
Distance to microbox: about 100 yards
