This is not a geocache. Since it is a letterbox please do not take the stamp in trade and leave no trinkets.
Elfego Baca, a renowned or infamous, New Mexican lawman is buried in Albuquerque, New Mexico near the Paladin letterbox. Here in Reserve, New Mexico is where his most famous exploit happened when he was a 19 year old. They've built a bronze statue memorializing the event.
Directions: Take New Mexico Highway 12 to Reserve and park there on Main Street. We enjoyed eating at Ela's and we've heard good things about Jojo's.
Clue: When looking down bear, ill it's sinister where scree meets parapet, on the ground but under a rock of two.
I sat on the wall with my camera. No one seemed to pay me much mind. You can probably sit right there and stamp in without raising any suspicions but try not to let anyone see you put the box back in place and cover it.
Please rehide exactly where you found it completely hidden from view.
