Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Letterbox: 100 yards
This box is placed in Eloise woods, a trailed burial place for pets. Really cool place to explore, and since I could not bury my cats here, at least the box will commemorate them.
Directions:
From intersection of Hwy 21 and FM 535, Go north on FM 535 a few miles. Look on right for main gate to Eloise Woods, then turn right on next dirt road which is Northside Ln. Pass an entry drive on right, then park in small lot on right outside fence.
To the letterbox:
Find the gate with "Tabasco Trail" sign on it. Open gate and enter. At jct, go left on Oxalis trail and count 23 steps. Go left for 9 steops to "Seth" stone. Go around triple oak tree and 4 more steps to double oak tree with cedar next to it. Box is behind the double oak at base, with rock on top.
Hike length: 1 mile
