This letterbox is part of the GO and Build a Better World! program in York County, PA. It will be available from June 3, 2017 to August 20, 2017. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.

The GO and Build a Better World! program requires you to search for up to 30 “landmarks” – wooden posts with engraved plates on them, instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please use a colored pencil or crayon to carefully rub the impression onto your GO and Build a Better World! rubbing sheet, available for free at any York County Library.

This letterbox is located in Heritage Rail Trail County Park and may be accessed, both by walking and by bicycle, from the Hanover Junction parking area. GO York! level of difficulty = Easy

- Starting from the Hanover Junction parking lot, walk past the bulletin board and make a left onto the rail trail.
- Walk about 50 yards and you will come to a bridge that crosses the Codorus Creek. Cross the bridge and continue along the trail.
- As you are walking the rail trail, you will come to 2 gray benches located on your right. Take a rest if needed and then continue following the rail trail.
- Continue along the rail trail until you come to another bridge that crosses a road. Here located on the wood fence is where you will find the post.
- To return to your vehicle, turn around and go back the way you came.

Hike length: 1-2 miles
