Distance to Letterbox: A little over a mile round trip
Box is at Bingham falls. Nice hike and falls.

Directions:
From Stowe, take route 108 up to Smugglers Notch SP. The parking area is on the left side of the road, and trail on right side. It is not marked well on road, but there is a trail sign in the trees. Suggest you start looking after you pass the Inn at the Mountain.
To the Letterbox:
Walk trail down to where the wire fence and sign for "Area closed" is. Look to the right of the right trail and uphill to the biggest tree. Walk 20 steps to that tree. Box is at back base under a rock.
Hike length: 1 mile
