After 6 years of Letterboxing MN's North Shore we have placed our first box in this special place.
Visit the Mystery Overlook atop of Moose Mountain
(We highly recommend the Gondola Ride to the summit, however this could be hiked or biked)
When leaving the Overlook you will pass Spur Trail on your left.
Continue from which you came,
turning right on the unmarked trail towards Ridgeline.
Between the picnic spot at the great lake "Big and Deep"
take 8 steps in search of the split-root tree.
Behind the root bridge beneath some debris,
you will find what you're meant to see.
Be sure to use the colored pencil to complete the art. Re-hide well in the same spot.
