Leap Day is a level-based platforming game released on May 11th, 2016 where the player plays as a character who is trying to reach the Gold Cup in each daily level created by an algorithm by making it leap at the right times. This series contains a few of those characters and is found at Lake Bastrop South Shore Park. It was placed for TALE 17 and the last box contains the log.
Directions:
From TX 71 go north on TX 21 for 0.4 mi then right at light to continue on TX 21 for 2 miles. Turn left on South Shore Rd for 1.4 mi then right into Lake Bastrop South Shore Park. Pay fee, get trail map and go straight at intersection to Osprey Point Hall and park at back near North South Trailway.
Box 1: Yolk - the default character who is yellow with a green rectangular nose.
Walk on trail that begins just left of the cabins for 0.15 mi to second jct with Fisherman's Trail. From sign before jct, go right off trail 5 steps to medium oak tree. LB is at back base under a rock & leaves.
Box 2: Lick - a green character with long red tongue inspired by pterodactyls.
Continue on North South Trail by going left at jct for 0.15 mi, going past gully in trail, to where trail bends sharp right before going down into another gully. Go straight off trail 3 steps to V-oak tree. LB is at left base under a rock & leaves.
Box 3: La Beef - a blue cow-like character with two curved horns and a large pink snout.
Continue on trail 125 steps to a 4.0 mile sign. Go back 13 steps then right off trail 5 steps to medium oak tree. LB is at back base under a rock & leaves.
Box 4: Smooch - a gray creature with round blue lips.
Continue on trail 120 steps to sign for Twin Bridges. Go left off trail 5 steps to Y-oak tree. LB is at back base under a rock & leaves.
Box 5: Root - a pink radish with green leaves on top of its head.
Continue on trail 190 steps to 3' cedar stump on right. Go left off trail 10 steps to medium oak tree. LB is at back base under a rock & leaves.
Box 6: Scalp - a purple character with a white skull.
Continue on trail 100 steps to medium oak tree next to trail on right. Continue 10 more steps, then left off trail 7 steps to Y-oak tree. LB is at back base under a rock & leaves.
Box 7: Zweiclops - a purple creature with three spike-like horns on its head.
Continue on trail to wood bridge with sign before it saying Big Oak. Go back 10 steps then right off trail 10 steps to medium V-oak tree. LB is at back base under a rock & leaves.
Box 8: Whip - a pink ice-cream character with blue lips.
Continue on trail across bridge 110 steps to culvert in trail. Continue 40 steps, then left off trail 7 steps to multi-trunk cedar tree. LB is within trunks 3' high under a rock.
Box 9: Shroom - a blue mushroom with a pink head containing blue spots.
Continue on trail 160 steps to where trail bends right next to a fence. Go left off trail 18 steps to a medium Y-oak tree. LB is at back base under a rock & leaves.
Box 10: Trunk - a purple creature whose head is a brown treasure chest with white eyes inside.
Continue on trail 30 steps to 3.5 mile sign on right, then continue short way to wood arch over trail just before it crosses a gravel rd. Go left off trail 7 steps to a V-oak tree, then 3 more steps beyond to a double-trunk cedar tree. LB is within trunks 6" high under rocks.
