Safari Winery is a beautiful building, but a little crowded. Nice facilities. A little different concept on the wine. They come from Chile and South Africa. Very good wines, and lots of selections. Worth the visit.
Directions:
From Fredericksburg, go east until just after Cain City Rd. Turn right into the winery, and park on the right side of front row.
To the Letterbox:
Go to the last parking spot on the right of the front row of parking (nearest the wood small building to the right in field). See the 3 small oak trees a little left of the path to that small building. There are 2 rocks in front of them. Box is under the bigger rock.
