Difficulty: Moderate
Distance to Letterbox: just over 2 miles round trip

This box is hidden along the Lone Star Trail, on the Little Lake Creek trail. Thick forest trail with multiple small creek crossings (so if raining I would not do).

Directions:
From Montgomery, go north on Hwy 149. Just after Hidden Forest Road on right, loop for parking area on right for the Lone Star Trail (may not be a sign, but if you pass it you will see sign going the other way). Pull in and park.

To the Letterbox:
Walk to end of parking and start trail. Soon you come to junction. Go left on Little Lake Creek Loop trail. Cross road, then follow trail and treed trail blazes as you also follow the creek. After multiple creek crossing you will leave the creek. At some point you will come to a bog area that is more open. Soon after you reach Pole Creek (a much bigger creek), and the trail turns right along it. Stop at the wooden pole on the right edge of trail (if you reach campsite you went to far). From pole, go back on trail you came for 70 steps (Passing through that bog area). Go right off trail for 5 steps to back side of big tree (not pine). Box at base with rotted wood over it (plus buried a bit).

Hike length: 1-2 miles
